Caring for Your Dog With Skill, Safety, and Heart
At Dognanny, your dog is never just a booking — they’re a much‑loved member of your family.
That’s why we believe great dog care is built on kindness, trust, and proper training.
We’re proud to hold recognised qualifications and checks that help you feel completely at ease when your dog is in our care.
Professional Training
🩺 iPet Network Level 3 – Canine First Aid

We hold a Level 3 Canine First Aid qualification from iPet Network, a nationally recognised awarding organisation. This means we are trained to stay calm and act quickly if something unexpected happens.
Our training includes:
- Assessing emergency situations with confidence
- Providing immediate first aid for injury or illness
- Responding to choking, bleeding, shock, and fractures
- Monitoring vital signs and keeping dogs stable until veterinary care is available
While we hope these skills are never needed, it’s reassuring to know your dog is in capable, knowledgeable hands.
Heartfelt Care, Backed by Expert Hands
We know your pet isn’t just an animal—they’re family. That’s why we pour our whole hearts into every walk, visit, and cuddle, and why we’ve gone the extra mile to guarantee their safety.
What makes our service truly special? It’s the peace of mind that comes from knowing the person caring for your dog has been personally trained by the best in the veterinary field.
- Our Guiding Star: We’ve had the incredible opportunity to receive intensive, hands-on training directly from the amazing Rachel Bean, RVN (Registered Veterinary Nurse).

The Gold Standard of Practical Safety Training
Unlike cheap, generic online certifications that just tick a box, our training was a deluxe, in-person experience built on real-world practice:
- Real-Life Practice: We worked hands-on with real dogs, mastering critical techniques and physical handling skills.
- Scenario Ready: We thoroughly walked through real-life, life-saving scenarios with practical demonstrations, giving us the confidence to act decisively in an emergency.
Rachel brings 25 years of compassionate veterinary nursing experience from around the world and is the credited creator of a national qualification in Canine First Aid. Her expertise is second to none.
You can trust your cherished companion is in the hands of pet professionals whose knowledge is vet-nurse verified.
Trust, safety, and peace of mind
Bringing joy to furry friends and peace of mind to their owners with our reliable and loving pet care services.

Fully Insured
Dognanny is fully insured. So you can relax knowing both you and your dog are protected whenever we’re caring for them.
You’re welcome to ask to see any paperwork during our Meet & Greet sessions.

DBS checked
A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check ensures that all staff have been verified against the police database. We use the same level of check that doctors and school teachers are required to undergo. Cat, our founder, is even a former primary school teacher. So you can relax, knowing your pets (and your home) are in honest, caring hands.

Continual Professional Development
We’re dedicated to ensuring all staff hold nationally recognised qualifications, not just certificates you can print out online.
We believe responsible dog care professionals never stop learning. At Dognanny, we are committed to ongoing professional development, continually building our knowledge to ensure thoughtful, up-to-date care that supports every pet’s wellbeing.

Safety focused and caring
When we meet with you, we’ll talk through every aspect of your dog’s wellbeing needs. From food, to walks, to medication, or health concerns – you’re in safe hands.
We know it’s worrying to leave your pets (and your home) in the hands of someone you don’t know. But we’re happy to show you any paperwork you wish to see and we’ll walk you through the whole process.
Reliable care for when you’re not there
Choosing someone to care for your pets when you’re not at home can feel worrying. You want to make sure your pets feel safe and loved, and your home secure. In a day and age where burglaries are on the rise, choosing an in-home pet sitter can alleviate some of the worry of not just leaving your pets, but leaving your home.
All our qualifications, insurance, and enhanced checks mean that you can feel confident leaving your pets – and your home – in trusted hands. Emergencies are handled quickly and calmly, and we always have vet details to hand if needed.
If you’re booking a pet sit, your home is kept secure and clean. We always clean up after your pets (and ourselves!). We are only interested in providing 5 star care for your pets, not your personal belongings (we have no interest in your personal items and wouldn’t want to risk our business reputation).
We’ll handle everything and guide you through the process.
